Paradigm EAE Workshop
EAE Zoom Workshop for Sec 4 Students
Applying for Poly EAE but not sure what to write, what to put in your portfolio, or how to prepare for the interview? Join Paradigm’s free EAE Zoom Workshop and learn how to build a stronger application that gives you an advantage.
Strong EAE write up, outstanding portfolio, & ace the interview.
Write-up, portfolio, and interview confidence.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of what assessors look for and how to prepare a more convincing application.
Why Most Student Fail in EAE?
Passion alone is not enough. Students need to show clear interest, relevant proof of aptitude, course understanding, a supporting portfolio, and confidence during the interview.
Many applicants sound the same.
Generic lines such as “I am passionate about this course” do not help assessors understand why the student is truly suitable.
A messy portfolio weakens the story.
A strong portfolio is not a folder of everything. It should select evidence that supports the course choice clearly.
The workshop helps students prepare before submission.
Students will learn how to think, choose, write, organise evidence, and present themselves like stronger EAE candidates.
Strengthen your EAE write-up.
A good EAE write-up helps the assessor understand why the student chose the course, what sparked the interest, what the student has done to explore the field, and how the course connects to future direction.
Avoid vague “passion” statements
Students will learn why generic statements are weak and how to make their points more specific.
Show evidence of aptitude
Students will learn how to link experiences, achievements, and interests to the course they are applying for.
Create a clearer application story
Students will learn how to connect interest, proof, course fit, and future direction into one convincing story.
Make you a better EAE candidate.
Most EAE guides tell students what EAE is. At Paradigm, we go deeper by helping students understand how to choose, research, write, organise proof, and present themselves clearly.
The Assessor Test
Students learn to review their application from the assessor’s point of view and spot vague, weak, or generic parts before submitting.
Hobby vs Career
Students learn how to test whether an interest is strong enough to become a serious course choice, not just something that sounds cool or familiar.
“Same Same” But Different Courses
Students learn how to compare courses that sound similar, such as Accountancy vs Finance, Biomedical Science vs Biomedical Engineering, or Business vs Marketing.
Build Your EAE Story
Students learn how to connect their interests, experiences, achievements, and future direction into one clear EAE story.
What if you don’t have much in your portfolio?
A portfolio does not always need to be filled with major awards. What matters is whether the evidence is relevant to the course and whether the student can explain what it shows.
Business
Event planning, sales, leadership, content creation, or entrepreneurship.
IT
Coding practice, websites, apps, robotics, tech projects, or online courses.
Media or Design
Videos, photography, writing, posters, sketches, digital designs, or creative process.
Social Work or Early Childhood
Volunteering, peer support, mentoring, reflections, or community involvement.
